Student Placement Details:

  • Position: Student Placements
  • Age 18+ Years
  • Duration: Dependent on Study

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the delivery of culturally appropriate health and social services
  2. Engage with the community and support them in accessing resources and support networks
  3. Collaborate with the team to develop and implement community initiatives
  4. Participate in cultural learning opportunities and training sessions provided by Whaioranga Trust
  5. Contribute to the organisation’s ongoing projects and initiatives

  • Pursuing a career in the Maori health and social service sectors
  • Strong commitment to Kaupapa Maori principles and values
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and engage in professional development opportunities
  • Availability to commit to completion of placement requirements
