Community Support Worker

Responsibilities include:

To ensure that service users receive the necessary care and support to remain in their own home. The support is tailored to their needs, we can help improve their quality of life and promote independence. The specific tasks may vary, but the overarching goal is to deliver compassionate and effective care that meets the unique requirements of each individual from Katikati to Otamarakau.

  • Personal Cares
    • Bathing or showering
    • Dressing and/or undressing
    • Toileting
    • Medication oversight
  • Household management
    • Vacumming
    • Mopping
    • Laundry
    • Dusting and wiping down surfaces

The ideal applicants for this position possess some experience in the health sector, the ability to work alternative weekends, a clean driver’s license, first aid and a reliable vehicle or transport, as well as possess good communication skills with elderly individuals.
