Internship Details:
- Position: Student Internships
- Age 18+ Years
- Duration: March to 30 June 2024 (200 hours total)
- Total Positions Available: 8
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of culturally appropriate health and social services.
- Engage with the community and support them in accessing resources and support networks.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement community initiatives.
- Participate in cultural learning opportunities and training sessions provided by Whaioranga Trust.
- Contribute to the organisation’s ongoing projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Pursuing a career in the Maori health and social services sector
- Strong commitment to Kaupapa Maori principles and values.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and engage in professional development opportunities.
- Availability to commit to 200 hours from March to June 2024.
